Whiteboard shortcuts

Tool

  • Press C to create a new card.
  • Press T to add text to whiteboard.
  • Press R to add rectangle.
  • Press D to add rectangle.
  • Press O to add ellipse.
  • Press A to add arrow.
  • Press L to add line.
  • Press P to add pen drawing.
  • Press cmd/ctrl+P to add highlighter.
  • Press E to erase drawings.
  • Press F to create a new frame.
  • Press L to use laser pointer in the presentation.
  • Press I to pick colors from board.
  • Press S to collapse or expand sidebar.
  • Press cmd/ctrl +K to add/update a link.

View

  • Press cmd/ctrl++/-to zoom in and out.
  • Press cmd/ctrl+0 to reset zoom.
  • Press shift+1 to zoom to fit all elements.
  • Press shift+2 to zoom to selection.

Edit

  • Press cmd/ctrl+D to duplicate.
  • Press cmd/ctrl+A to select all elements.
  • Press cmd/ctrl+click to deep select.
  • Press shift+alt+C to copy to clipboard as PNG.
  • Press cmd/ctrl+alt+C to copy styles.
  • Press cmd/ctrl+alt+V to paste styles.
  • Press cmd/ctrl+alt+[/] to send element to back/bring to front.
  • Press cmd/ctrl+[/] to send element backward/bring forward.
  • Press cmd/ctrl+shift+L to lock/unlock elemets.
  • Press cmd/ctrl +G to group all selection.
  • Press cmd/ctrl +shift+G to ungroup selection.

Card shortcuts

/ command

Pressing / in cards shows a menu where you can choose content to insert.

  • /heading1 creates a large heading.
  • /heading2 creates a medium-sized heading.
  • /heading3 creates a small heading.
  • /todo creates a to-do list with checkboxes.
  • /image to upload image.
  • /link creates a link to website.
  • /bullet list creates a bulleted list.
  • /number list creates a numbered list.
  • /quote creates a quote.
  • /divider creates a divider.

Markdown style

While typing:

  • Type ** on both sides of your text to bold.
  • Type * on both sides of your text to italicize.
  • Type ~~ on both sides of your text to strike through.

At the beginning of any new line:

  • Type *-, or + followed by space to create a bulleted list.
  • Type [] to create a to-do checkbox, followed by space. (There's no space in between.)
  • Type 1. followed by space to create a numbered list.
  • Type # followed by space to create an H1 heading.
  • Type ## followed by space to create an H2 sub-heading.
  • Type ### followed by space to create an H3 sub-heading.
  • Type > followed by space to create a quote.
  • Type --- to create a divider.

Text style

  • Press cmd/ctrl+B to bold text.
  • Press cmd/ctrl+I to italicize text.
  • Press cmd/ctrl+U to underline text.
  • Press cmd/ctrl+S to strike through text.
